I want to create a small app that basically take a picture from the phone or the gallery and analyze and recognize text from it.
Then, using the recognized text, I want to generate a document that can be saved as an pdf (or whatever) and printed. If possible, I want to be able to keep the data from the pics (the recognized text) inside a database.
I was planning on using the TesseractJS library but any library will do.
Now, thanks to this amazing work with Jasonette, I can even just think of beginning to write an app that can do that (I'm not a developer but I've already coded some basic websites).
I'm asking for an outlined of how this kind of app would work using Jasonette.
I was thinking:
1. Get the image
2. Save it as a variable
3. Pass the variable image for analyze with the JS
4. Save the returned words as variable
5. Insert the words inside a template document
6. Save to DB / Print
Any other suggestion are welcome,
Thanks for the help.
