I was hoping for a full-text-search engine embedded in jasonette that automatically indexes the template data and exposes a search interface on top of it. like having elastic search built into the app, but lightweight.

Currently Jasonette uses https://selecttransform.github.io/site/ but only the half of it. As the library name states, it's for "select AND transform"ing JSON objects but we're only making use of the transform part, mostly for template rendering.
I was thinking maybe there's a way to express the
select part in pure JSON so that this type of operation is possible. But this requires some thought, just like all other markup designs have been.
